| What prompt you to move to your current location and how long have you lived there? |
|
We have lived in Fox River Grove for 22 years. Growing up in Oakwood Hills I always liked this area and of course my family was here. We moved to Florida for 6 years but it was just too weird to see Santas and Snowmen in people's yards when it was 80 degrees outside! Living in FRG for all these years-we've gotten very attached. It is a great little town!

| Where else have you lived? How many times have you moved in last 40 years? |

We lived in Spring Hill, Florida for 6 years. It was great in the winter but otherwise not so great. Humid, buggy and lots of old people (we were young when we lived there-now we are the old people-haha).

| Married? To who? When? How Long? And most importantly, how did you two meet? |
|
Terry and I have been married for 30 years. My brother actually introduced us at The Tracks in Cary!

Our only child Amy is 25 years old. She is currently teaching 4th grade in Fox River Grove. She recently became engaged so we have a wedding to look forward to next summer!! |
| Did any or all of your kid(s) attend or graduate from CGCHS? |

My daughter Amy graduated from Cary Grove in 2002. It was very weird going there for parents night!!

| Do you still have family around in McHenry County? And who? |

All my brothers live in the area.

| Do you still see/talk to/hang out with any classmates? Who? |
|
I still talk to Linda Urbaniak, Ellen Nicholas, Mary Lou Kvidera. My sister in law is DeeDee Wendt. Occasionally see John Weseman and Jim Verseman.

| So what did you do right after high school? |
|
Stayed in the area and got a job at an insurance company. Insurance pretty much became my life. I have worked for several insurance companies over the years.

| What do you do now? |
|
Besides working I am helping my daughter plan her wedding. We do a lot of boating on the Fox River and I enjoy watching some sports-football and Nascar. I like to read and occasionally get urges to be crafty!

| What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finish high school |
|
I came close to what I wanted to do, which is ok for now

| If you had the opportunity for a do-over; what is the biggest thing you would differently if you went back to your time at CGCHS? |
|
I would definitely apply myself better academically. I guess quite a few people have said that-too bad we just didn't realize it when we were there.

| What is your favorite memories about the 60's? |
|
I would have to say my favorte memories were the times I spent at The New Place. I was there every Friday and Saturday night. Seeing and hearing all those great local Chicago bands was a great experience. Met a lot of very cool people there too.

| When it comes to sports; are you more of a spectator or are you part of the game? What is/are your favorite sports? |
|
For the last few years I have enjoyed watching Nascar -even went to a race last year. I also enjoy watching the Bears (hoping Jake Cutler will be our salvation) and of course the Cubbies.

| Of all the vehicles you've owned; which one did you like the best and why? |
|
1967 Mustang. I loved that car!

| Are you currently "Empty Nesters" or is/are any of the offspring still in the nest with you? |
|
We are empty nesters but our daughter lives close by and we see her almost every weekend.
|
| How do you see yourself in 10 years? |
|
Of course I would like to be retired but I feel I will always want to do something so probably have some kind of part time job. I would like to travel the US but really have no desire to go to foreign countries. Spend time with family and friends!!
